Oggi ce ne andiamo sul penultimo pianeta del sistema solare (ultimo dopo che hanno rifatto le stime catastali, ma non stiamo a cavillare), quella palla blu che è Nettuno.

Su Nettuno fa molto, molto freddo. Pare che la grande macchia Blu (che fa il paio con quella di Giove, ché sennò nettuno era invidioso) sia attorno ai -218°C. Se considerate che lo Zero Assoluto è -273,15°C... ve la siete portata la maglia di lana, sì?

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary - China Glaze Frostbite

I'm VERY exciting today, because it's the 50th anniversary of my loved sci-fi serie, Doctor Who. Tonight, BBC shall broadcast a special episode with two Doctors, Matt Smith (the current Doctor, Eleventh) and his companion, Clara, and David Tennant ♥ (the former Doctor, Tenth) and the lovely Rose (she is the best companion ever. EVER.). In a single episode we shall have The Uncoming Storm and the Raggedy Doctor.

This is CRAZY!!!

[Battle of Planets] #10 Uranus: China Glaze Metallic Muse

E siamo arrivate alla decima puntata. Il pianeta del giorno è il nostro amico Urano (?), il pianeta che porta nel nome quel Cielo Stellato che è alla base della mitologia greca. Tecnicamente, Urano è azzurro, come il cielo ( e non giallo, come ricordavo - male - io), mentre Nettuno è blu, come il mare. Quindi, per non impazzire coi colori, il verde gliel'ho affibbiato per simpatia. Fate finta che su Urano il cielo sia verde, ok?

Today, under a rainy sky, we shall see the Planet of the agenda, our friend Uranus (?), that brings in the name the Starry Sky which is the basis of Greek mythology. Technically, Uranus is blue, like the sky (and not yellow, as I remembered ), while Neptune is blue, like the sea. So, to not go crazy with the colors, I chose  the green for Uranus because I love this shade. Pretend that Uranus's skies are green, okay?

Dice, è uscito il nuovo film di Thor.

Dice, ci sta Malekit l'Oscuro.

Dice, questo film s'ha da vedere.
Magari NON in 3D, ché sennò mi esplodono gli occhi e la testa. L'unico cinemino dove lo danno in 2D è al Fensalir, Asgard sud. Un posto tipo la Sila con la neve, insomma.
E così si parte, mie balde Valkirie. Balziamo in groppa ai fidi destrieri (Sleipnir l'ho prenotato io, attaccatevi ;) ), prendiamo l'Yggdrasil  e poi l'innesto per il Bifrost .
Raccomandazioni: catene a bordo, portatevi una sciarpa e occhio a non uscire a Niflheimr.

Oggi puntata sotto l'ombrello dedicata al pianeta con gli anelli, quello che gioca all'hoola-hop nello spazio, Saturno. Che se ce l'hai contro (contro... cosa? Controvento? Contromano? Beh, in effetti un frontale con Saturno deve essere qualcosa di epico. Di mortalmente epico...), son dolori.
No, non so cosa mi sia passato per la mente quando ho scelto il viola come colore per Saturno. Saturno è giallognolo. Color caghello, via. Sailor Moon ha fatto grossi, grossi danni...

Sopravvissute ad Halloween? Spero di sì, visto che prosegue il nostro viaggio verso la periferia del Sistema Solare. Superato Marte, troviamo la Fascia degli Asteroidi (il cui nome scientifico esatto è Cintura principale degli asteroidi), una zona cuscinetto tra il Sistema Solare interno e quello esterno. Una sorta di Grande Raccordo Anulare, in pratica...
