I liked so much this September, because you give me a very strong support joining my first Challenge, Dancing in September. I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition so many people send me their nail art. I'm very happy!!
Nevertheless, October is one of my favorite month (yup, I have an hit-parade of month.) because air turns chilly, the leaves of trees burn into a magnificent flame toned view and the light is more warmer. I like breath October's air. There's something strange and new in the wind, like a wisper, when October is coming. Or at least I feel so.

Sapphire Nails for #naillinkup - Layla 104

Last time I wrote about sapphireblue nail polishes I completely forgot to share with you one of the most AMAZING blue shimmer nail polish I have in my stash since ages. Maybe the first one no-pink, no-red, no-white nail polish I have purchased.

Shame. On. Me. 

But a couple of days ago I have met Jacqui and the others girls of N.A.I.L. project, so today I can show you another lovely sapphire blue nail polish. I mean, I don't need a reason to show you something, I just had the chance to, so yesterday I "forced" myself to put this shade on. What a sacrifice!!

Nell'ultima carrellata sugli smalti color zaffiro, ho dimenticato di inserire anche il primo smalto "colorato" che io abbia mai comprato. E per colorato intendo uno smalto non rosa, non rosso, non bianco (rigorosamente perlato, ché a chiedere il bianco gesso ti guardavano come se fossi appena sbarcata da Marte). Rimedio oggi, tirando fuori dal cassetto delle Vecchie Glorie il mio amato Layla 104.

Il tema di questa domenica è molto importante e non avevo proprio voglia di restarmene a guardare, anche se ho millemila cose da preparare. Settembre è anche il mese della sensibilizzazione dei tumori infantili e il colore con cui sbizzarrirsi è l'oro. Ecco perché oggi vi mostro la mia ultima creazione...

E finalmente è arrivato l'Autunno.

Archiviata l'Estate (e caspita se è stata strana, quest'anno), ci tuffiamo in un nuovo progetto, EuRoPe, una cavalcata attraverso alcuni degli stati dell'Unione Europea (quelli che possono considerarsi un po' il cuore della Vecchia Europa), che vi terrà compagnia ogni venerdì fino alla metà di Dicembre. Contente? Noi non stiamo più nella pelle, quindi bando alle ciance e partiamo. Da dove? Ma dall'Italia, che domande?!

And finally Autumn comes.

Summer is over and for my mates and I it's time to start another project, EuRoPe. It's a virtual walk through the countries you could deem as the core of old Europe. We start today, September 23th and we'll keep on until mid-December. So, let's begin our trip from our lovely country, Italy!

Most Loved - Summer Edition

Good evening mates,

today is the last day of summer and I want to share with you the products I loved in the past three months. Literary Lacquers Carrot Carrot!

Lo scorso Luglio ho ricevuto l'intera collezione Anne of Green Gable di Literary Lacquers. Finora sono riuscita a mostrarvene quattro su sei. Oggi rimedio con un bell'arancio zucca, strapieno di glitter di varie dimensioni, Carrot Carrot.

[Birthstone Challenge] #9 Sapphires on the march

Da amante del blu, una delle mie pietre preferite (se non LA preferita) è senza alcun dubbio lo zaffiro, la pietra che corrisponde al mese di Settembre. Di zaffiri esistono dodicimila versioni, più o meno scuri a seconda della caratura e della zona di provenienza. Io ne posseggo uno scurissimo, che proviene dritto dritto dagli anni '70 e che ho usato come linea guida per cercare di trovare lo smalto che più si avvicinasse ad uno zaffiro.

Non è stato facile. Anzi. Diciamo che mi sono incasinata talmente tanto la vita da avere più di un papabile canditato; così ho deciso di tagliare la testa al vento e di proporvi questa parata di zaffiri. Tutti. Spero di non aver doppiato nessuna delle mie amiche, ma anche se fosse sono sicura che le loro foto saranno molto meglio delle mie. Vogliate anche scusare la pessima condizione in cui versano le mie cuticole, ma ieri mi sono data allo swatching selvaggio ed incontrollato, con la scusa di provare le nuove luci da interno. Winter is coming, giusto?

As blue lover, I love the sapphire, the birtstone of September (is Libra's birthstone, by the way). We could find in my Helmers one thousen and one sapphire colour alike, so I had decided to use my sapphire (a 70's style golden ring) to choose the perfect sapphire in nail polish world. It wasn't easy. It was so complicated that I picked five nail polishes! So I have decided to share them all with you, my sweet sweethearts. All. Of. Them. I hope to have not duped any of my teammates!
Would you please forgive my unpleaseant cuticles, but yesterday I have tried some new lights for my so called dark room, and I swatched all-day-long.

Dancing in September Contest

In my mind September is always been a strange month. September means transformation, twist, and change. From the hot summer we drift into a rainy autumn, soft and light as air. Or as a dance step, if you please. Today, September has started with a huge rainstorm over my country, ending in this bizarre way the strangest summer I've ever seen.

But we are not here only to say goodbye summer and welcome autumn.
Today starts my first challenge here on The Happy Beauty Case, and I'm so happy and proud about it, that I was looking forward the occasion to share the news with you. 
I hope you’ll like my idea and you’ll join the contest in large numbers!

The winner takes it all a nail polish, of course… but which one?

It’s very simple to answer: an holo. An HTF holo. Back from the blessed OMG Collection, the prize is China Glaze BFF.

I have found this bottle all alone on the shelves of my China Glaze retailer, last week, and I had to get it. It’s a pink base linear holo, even if in the bottle it seems to have a brownish shade. I already own a bottle of BFF in my treasure chest. This is a brand new bottle, purchased for the challenge. I want to state it here out loud. In the previous picture you can see the two bottles of BFF I've got. Mine is that on the right, the left one is the prize, with the removable sticker on the cap.

I took the following photos last July. This is how BFF appears on direct sunlight.

The Rules are:
1)   The contest is open from September 1^st to September 30^th. Results shall be announced on October 4^th.  The winner will be declared by me. I do not use Rafflecopter or something like that.

2)   You must create a brand new nail art inspired by the Earth, Wind and Fire song “September”. You can do whatever you want. Feel free to listen the song, watch the video and create something wearable. 

3)   Send me a photo of your nail art via e-mail to thebeautycasestaff [AT] gmail [dot] com with  “Dancing in September Contest” as object. Don’t forget to add the link of your blog! 

4) The Contest will be declared open with at least three competitors. I'll made a guest post for every competitor.

5) A limit of one entry is allowed per competitor. You may not use different alias, or send me more than one nail art.

6)   You should be blogging about your idea. It’s not allowed to share your nail art only on facebook/twitter/tumblr. If you want share the contest, please, feel free to do it. But please don’t base your entry only on social networks.

7)   The Contest is open to all 18 years old bloggers living in Europe. I’m sorry, but this freaking collection is really hard to find here in Europe, so I want to give the chance to someone who lives in those countries.

8)   Due to international crisis and mail limitations, I cannot send the prize to following Countries: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, UK. Please, do not enter in this contest if you live in one of this countries OR there's particular rules about shipment in your country.

9)   I’ll send the prize with a flat rate as soon as possible with the best love and care I can. Anyway, I’m not responsible for any losts, damage or whatever due to Italian or European mail service.

10)  You've not to add my blog to your blogroll, or myself on your circle on g+, but if you’ll be so kind to do that, I’ll really appreciate it.
