No, non so cosa mi sia passato per la mente quando ho scelto il viola come colore per Saturno. Saturno è giallognolo. Color caghello, via. Sailor Moon ha fatto grossi, grossi danni...
Ah, lui è OPI Sahara Sapphire.

Let's talk about the planet of this friday, Saturn, the one who plays hoola-hop into space. No, I do not know what has passed through my mind when I chose purple as the color for Saturn. Saturn is yellowish. Poop color, right?
I think that Sailor Moon has made big, big damages to my brain ... and I'm not a Sailor fan!

Il gioiellino di oggi è un bastardissimo "metallic blue pearl", come trovate scritto in giro. I miei occhi lo vedono viola. Non è cattiveria, ma siamo serie: blu? Questo colore? Naaaaa...
Sahara Sapphire esce dritto dritto dalla collezione Colorcopia, dell'estate 2009, per festeggiare i vent'anni di smalti OPI. Si trattava di una riedizione di vecchie glorie del passato recente (rispetto al 2009), con unico comun denominatore il fatto di essere impossibili da fotografare e da rendere al 100%. L'ho visto io stessa scattando queste foto e poi selezionandole per il post: uscivano sempre tre punti di colore diversi. Così ho raggruppato quelli che più mi sembravano simili tra loro (e simili al colore in boccetta).
Ho adorato questo colore, ma c'è un "ma" grosso come una casa: i segni del pennello. Io ho cercato di non mostrarvi l'orrore puro, ma ci sono, fanciulle. Restano, eccome. Anzi, a smalto appena steso, seconda passata, sono stata tentata di togliere tutto e ricominciare. Poi ho visto che i segni si attenuano un pochino, a smalto asciutto, ma purtroppo non scompaiono.

Sahara Sapphire comes straight from the collection Colorcopia , summer 2009 , to celebrate twenty years of OPI nail polishes . It was a revival of old glories of the recent past ( from 1990 to 2008) , with only common denominator being impossible to photograph and make 100 % accuracy . I saw myself taking these pictures and then selecting them for the post : always came three different colors . So I have grouped those that seemed most similar to each other (and similar to the color in the bottle ) .
I loved this color , but there is a "but" big as a spaceship : the brushstrokes . I tried not to show you the pure horror , but there are , girls. Indeed, I was tempted to remove everything and start over again . Then I saw that when the nail polish is dry, the signs fade a bit , but unfortunately not disappear.

Visto? Le ultime foto parlano chiaro (e io insisto a dire che questo è un viola chiaro, non un blu), i segni del pennello ci sono. Eccome. Prima di salutarvi - e di ricordarvi di fare un salto a vedere le scelte dlele mie amichette - vi lascio con un regaluccio: le foto scattate dalla sonda Cassini il 19 Luglio u.s. (che bel regalo di compleanno!), in cui si vedono la Terra e la Luna viste da... Saturno!
