Che mi raccontate di bello? Vi siete divertite in queste due settimane? Ho visto che avete continuato a seguire e a leggere i post vi ho lasciato a farvi compagnia, e devo anche rimettermi in pari con tutto quello che è successo in mia assenza, sicché bando alle ciance e via libera al protagonista indiscusso di oggi, Lizard Belly dell'australiana Glitter Gal.

I spent two weeks far away from my blog, but they was days for resting and have fun. And eat a lot (too much, to be honest.). I had seen your comments to my posts, and I have many of our post to read, so stop babbling, and go on with the star of this Holothon's episode! From the far far away Australia, in the blue corner, Glitter Gal Lizard Belly!

Glitter Gal Lizard Belly è un nero a base verde con un effetto olografico lineare deciso e spaccaretina. Lo so che nelle foto lo vedete un po' moscio, ma credetemi: avete l'arcobaleno a portata di mano. Talmente a portata che la macchina fotografica ha alzato bandiera bianca, e ciancicando un "Te saludi!", s'è ammutinata. E restando in tema di traditori biechi, considerando che il pancino delle lucertole è quasi sempre chiaro, per me il Serpente dell'Eden era di questo colore. Con tanto di scaglie olografiche. Ci credo che Eva è caduta in tentazione!

Ho usato come base Aqua Base di Nfu Oh, perfetta per gli smalti con un carattere forte come il signorino in questione. Ho steso tre mani su indice e mignolo e due su anulare e medio. Come potete vedere, è un filo sheer. Ma appena un attimo. Dal vivo non si notano grandi differenze, ma sotto l'occhio impietoso della macro, è evidente che due passate non sono sufficienti. Ne servono tre. Non si lasciano buchi come con Layla o Nfu Oh, ma il colore acquista una copertura più omogenea. A prova d'idiota, insomma.

L'effetto olografico è davvero particolare. A detta dell'azienda, alla Glitter Gal utilizzano "vere" particelle olografiche nella formula dei loro smalti (formula perfetta, se mi è concesso dirlo), che risaltano al sole e che giustificano il costo più elevato di questa marca. Certo, il fatto che proviene dall'alltra parte del globo (letteralmente!), non aiuta, anzi. Ma una tantum non ne vale la pena?

Per me, assolutamente sì!

E su, non mi dite che non siete cadute in tentazione anche voi.

Glitter Gal Lizard Belly is a saturated greenish black (or blackish green? Who knows?) with a pretty strong linear holo, Sadly, my camera couldn't stand the perfection of this holo effect... ok, I'll be honest: it was a real pain in the ass to get a decent picture on. 
Glitter Gal use a particular kind of holographic pigment, did you know?

They say:
We use “true” holographic particles in our formulation. This one ingredient is 30 times more expensive than any other nail polish ingredient. Thus making our holographic nail polish the highest quality possible. You will notice the smoothness to the finish of polish, and reflective effects are amazing. They are also the “Big 3 Free”.
Many other companies have tried create holographics, but use the more affordable ingredients, which don’t give the polishes the same effect, we didnt want to compromise on quality and wanted to deliver to our customers a true holographic formulation.

I must admit that I never seen anything like THIS holographic nail polish. 
You could understand what I say only once you had a bottle in your hands.
I used Nfu Oh Aqua Base, then I layed two coat on middle and ring, and three coats on index and pinkie. In RL the difference is barely noticeable, but macros don't forget. You will need 3 coats for full coverage.
I just don't undestand why they call it Lizard Belly, because the belly of a lizard is, most often, pale and not so dark. I could imagine with ease that the Serpent who lure Eve in the garden of Eden had this beautiful color. With holo scales too. Don't you agree?
Foolishness aside, Glitter Gal is a very expensive brand, I couldn't denied that, and the fact that they comes from the other side of this planet - letterally! - increase the price, but I think that once in a life a girl should buy something amazing for her.
