I know, I'm late for the weekly PW episode, but when I took the shots the battery of my camera was almost dead, and when I have seen what I have done, I have an unpleasent discovery: all my photos were blurry! I can join the challenge today. I'm sorry, but I'm here. That's counts, right?
In clamoroso ritardo (scusate, ma non ho fatto in tempo prima), posto la mia partecipazione al PW di questa settimana. Avevo scattato le foto, ma ho dovuto aspettare che la batteria della fotocamera si ricaricasse, e quando sono andata a controllare cosa avessi combinato ho scoperto, con mio sommo fastidio, che nemmeno mezza foto era venuta a fuoco. Non ce l'ho fatta prima. Mi scuso con le altri partecipanti, ma sono qui. È questo che conta, no?

The pattern we have chosen is a pretty crazy one. I don't know what exactly is, but I like it. Basically, there are some irregular blue spots with some random black spots inside of them. In my first attemps, I've drawn some randomly spots over a light blue base. Today I want to show you another way to realise this pattern.
Nail Polishes I used:
China Glaze Snow
China Glaze Towel Boy-Toy (pinkie)
China Glaze In the Limelight (medium)
China Glaze Celtic Sun (ring)
China Glaze Japanese Koi (index)
China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (thumb)
NYC black striper
Because I'm a crazy lady, I think that nail polishes with a neon finish could be ok (the truth is: I need some summer-y days!), so I have painted my nails with two coats of China Glaze Snow.
Then, using the nail polish brush, I have made a big, irregular drop over the white base. I've chosen a different colour for each nail. Then, when the nail polishes were dried, I added some random spots with the black striper. That's all.
Looking at my ring finger, this pattern reminds me the vest of Fred Flintstones, don't you agree?

Prima che me lo chiediate, non lo so che diamine sia il pattern di questa settimana. Gelatine (malate)? Qualcosa uscito fuori dalla emnte di un designer svedese mentre parlava al telefono?
Boh.
Fatto sta che si tratta di alcune gocce di forma irregolare che contengono dei trattini neri. Il tutto su uno sfondo biancastro. E così avevo fatto nella mia prima versione, piazzando queste gocce un po' a caso.
Oggi, invece, vi mostro un ingrandimento al microscopio di questo disegno.

Poiché sono una persona sobria, ho pensato che degli smalti neon potessero dare la scossa a questa manicure (le verità è che ho un bisogno arretrato pazzesco di estate e di sole!), così ho steso due mani di China Glaze Snow ed ho lasciato asciugare. Direttamente con il pennello dello smalto, ho disegnato delle gocce (grosse ed irregolari) e in seguito, a colore asciutto, ho disegnato i trattini con lo striper nero. Ta-dan!
A guardare l'anulare non sembra anche a voi che questo disegno possa ricordare il vestito di Fred Flintstone?

Non ho molto altro da aggiungere a questo delirio. Mi rendo conto che questo disegno è forse un fiiiiiilo troppo estivo per questa stagione (ma giusto un attimo, guarda!), però questo passa il convento. Se vi è piaciuto, tenetelo a mente per l'anno prossimo. Dopo tutto, l'estate sta arrivando. Lentamanete magari, ma è in viaggio.
