Secondo appuntamento con il Tri Polish Challenge, e con i colori del mese: arancio, giallo e verde. Questi tre colori ispirano Halloween, lo so, ma ancora per oggi niente zucche e fantasmi, ma rose. Su uno sfondo nero. So che sembra la tappezzeria di un sofà anni '80, ma oramai è fatta. Eccovi le mie rose. Spero vi piacciano!

Are you ready for the second step of October's Tri Polish Challenge? The colors of month are yellow, orange and green. You feel the Halloween spirit in the air, do you? Me too, but for this week I don't show you pumpkins, ghosts etc.etc., but roses. Again, I know, but I LOVE roses. This time I have choice a black base. Yup, this mani looks like a 80's couch, but this is my choice. So, there's my roses, I hope you like it!
Il colore di sfondo, il nero, è Dark Elixir di Lollipops, una marca francese di accessori che produce anche makeup. Questo smalto, che ho completamente che ho acquistato tre anni fa da Marionnaud. Si tratta di uno smalto dal finish crème, nero, che se lasciato quiescente per un po' abbisogna di un trattamento d'urto per tornare ad essere denso al punto giusto (usate uno stick da spiedino, mescolate, richiudete bene la boccetta, ed agitatelo a testa in giù per almeno due minuti). Come potete vedere nelle foto, la confezione è molto graziosa e anche vagamente fantasy, ma scomodissima da riporre nell'Helmer. Infatti lo tengo in una scatola assieme ad altre cose (scatole per trasportare gli smalti, creme per le mani, tamponi...
The background color is Lollipops's Dark Elixir. Lollipops is a french brand of accessories (like Accessorize). It's a black crème, and if you do not use it for a while, you must re-activate it using a skewer. Mish it, close it very weel, and shake it, upside down for almost two minutes. As you can see in my photos, the bottle is very cute, and a little bit fantasy, but it's NOT handy or useful to stash it in the Helmer's drawers. I stash it in a box, with others manicure's stuff.
Ho disegnato le rose in arancio e giallo, stemperato con il bianco, mentre il verde l'ho usato per le foglie. E siccome non c'era abbastanza casino, ho anche aggiunto dei piccoli puntini bianchi. Una mano di top coat e la manicure resisterà qualche giorno in più.
Mi piace realizzare le rose, perché sono semplici da realizzare e di grande effetto. Poca spesa e massima resa, giusto? Forse per qualcuno saranno noiose, ma basta cambiare i colori ed avrete sempre una nuova manicure. Vi lascio alle foto!
I drew roses with orange and yellow, spun out whit a white crème; the green is for leaves. Because it's not messy (irony intended) I add some white spots through the roses (Oh, Dear Lord, why?) and just a little layer of top coat. I LOVE roses manicure, because is so easy to do and very impressive, isn't? Maybe someone may think they are boooooriiiiing, but you ahve just to change colors for a new manicure.
