[Winter Nail Art Challenge] #7 Ornaments (in yellow and brown)

Something changed inside me. I discovered I like to wear brown shades. This is quite an apocalypse to me, because I like brown, but I disliked wear it.

I made this messy WM using a yellow tone and a brown shimmer to recreate a Christmas ornament, a 70's inspired bauble.

It's very similar to a piece of nougat, don't you agree?

Qualcosa è cambiato in questo 2014. Non solo ho acquistato alcuni smalti viola, ma ne ho acquistati anche di marrone. Ora, a me il marrone piace, ma non sempre amo indossarlo. Conscia di questa rivelazione - altro che apocalisse! - ho realizzato una WM ce ricordasse le decorazioni delle palle di Natale degli anni '70. In giallo e marrone, ovviamente...

Cosa? Ricorda più un pezzo di torrone? Credo abbiate ragione...

Kiko 813 pearly brown is not a pearly nail polish, but it's a shimmer. This is my first Quick Dry and I have to say that it's true, it dries very fast! If you want to use it for a WM dunk your nails quickly. 
I used two coats of Shaka Matt white as a base. Then, I poured some drops of  yellow and brown shade in a cup of room temperature water, and I made a poinsettia shape with a central swirl (as you can see in my middle finger).
I'm so proud of this messy WM because it comes out exactly as I wanted it should be.

Io non chiamerei "perlato" lo smalto Kiko 813 della linea Quick Dry, ma shimmer.
Ad ogni modo, questa linea è 'quick' di nome e di fatto! Si spande bene in acqua, ma se decidete di usarla in una WM, lavorate velocemente la vostra figura ed immergete le unghie il prima possibile.
Ho usato due mani di Shaka Matt White come base, ho creato una poinsettia alternando il giallo ed il marrone, ed ho aggiunto una spirale al centro - come potete notare, s'è trasferita quasi per intero sull'unghia del medio...
Mi piace molto questa WM: non sarà apollinea, ma è venuta esattamente come volevo che fosse. Sono soddisfazioni!
